I am a documentary director and cinematographer. I graduated from the UK’s National Film and Television School (NFTS).
My documentaries have been played at festivals, such as Hot Docs, Camerimage, Visions du Reel and SXSW. My short "After" won the CILECT Best Documentary film award, which is chosen by the association of the world’s major film and television schools. My first full length documentary, "Theatre of Violence", premiered at CPH DOX in 2023 and won VIKTOR Award for Best Documentary (DOK.fest Munich), Grand Prix (Movies That Matter), Young Voice Award (Inconvenient Films), Best Documentary - Second Award (Encounters).
I was selected for Berlinale Talents 2014, an international summit for emerging filmmakers.
In 2012, I participated in the IDFA Academy, an intensive four-day training program designed for promising documentary filmmakers and producers, providing in-depth industry insights and networking opportunities.
Beyond my own creative work, I am currently a Mentor at Raindance Postgraduate (London), where I guide and support film students through the development of their projects.
Previously, I served as a mentor at a documentary workshop in Uganda, working with East African filmmakers as part of Maisha Film Lab—an initiative founded by Mira Nair (Monsoon Wedding, The Reluctant Fundamentalist).
